BIOGRAPHY
Joe Baiza – who
has been for many years the trustee of Saccharine
Trust, who is the founding member and head of
the Jazzcore legend Universal Congress Of (UCO)
and who, occasionally was a full-time guitar player
of Mike Watt – calls the trio, founded in
1993, his favourite project. Accompanied by Wayne
Griffin (drums), who is known to the European
audience since his participation in Mike Watt’s
much discussed CD/LP "Ballhog or Tugboat"
(probably the most renowned gathering of the American
Independent scene), and by Rafa Gorodetsky (bass),
Baiza’s co-player already with Saccharine
Trust and founding member of UCO, Joe once again
breaks impressively the boundaries of Jazz, liberating
it from obsolete formalism.
