THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF REVEREND DEADEYE
HAZ073
The Good Reverend recently recorded with cult, German indie label Hazelwood Vinyl Plastics, producing his most savage and heartfelt work to date, to be released as ‘The Trials and Tribulations Of Reverend Deadeye‘ on April 16, 2010.
This record features the many sides of the Rev’s diverse musical palate; including rockabilly tinged one-man band blasts; original, old-timey ballads of loss and melancholy; fiery gospel ensemble interpretations featuring washboard and organ; and garage-blues party anthems like ‘Fuck the Devil‘ and ‘Let’s Get Drunk on Jesus‘.
The good Reverend has also been featured in the award winning Slowboat Film(DE) production "The Folksinger"(July 2008 release), and the recently released ‘You Can't Take It With You When You Die!‘(Nicolas Drolc, Dec. 2009 release).
In his decade of touring he has shared the stage with T-Model Ford, Possessed By Paul James, The Black Lips, Bob Log III, Reverend Beat-Man, Gogol Bordello, Big John Bates and the Voodoo Dolls, The Black Keys, and many more.
