BIOGRAPHY
“That’s it!” Kim Munk decides,
the transcending spirit and gleaming head of the
Broken Beats as he stands there: a little autistic,
a little nightmarish, and, as always, not quite
convinced of himself and of all the rest –
as he leaves behind THE OPUS. “them codes…
them codes” the misty maestro speaks and no
one is sure if he has understood - and if he has,
then how many times?! Munk is a Dane in Aarhus.
After his life he owns an acoustic guitar, a blues-harp
and an leathery brief case – and therein,
a convolute of opinions and notions, drawings and
(at least two hundred) songs, that he all plays
by heart; but whose lyrics he likes to look up every
now and then, because there might be one word or
another that he doesn’t quite remember. If
he speaks, which he rarely does when it comes to
his own music, he lapses into a gentle stuttering
and the act of breathing comes to be a vital task.
